We are thrilled to celebrate Shannon Case for reaching Fit Rank at EmpowerFit HC by attending over 50 classes! 🎉 That’s 50+ times she’s shown up, put in the work, and encouraged those around her — and if you know Shannon, you know she’s one of the best cheerleaders we have. Whether it’s hyping up a workout or rallying friends and family to join her, Shannon’s enthusiasm is infectious.
Shannon started coming to class with one simple motivation: to better her health. And she’s stuck with it, showing up week after week — sometimes in the middle of a busy schedule full of kids' activities. What keeps her coming back? “I feel like being part of this fitness community has pushed me to go further and encouraged me to stick with it,” she says. “Even when I miss a class, I’m always welcomed back. There’s no shame, just support.”
Her favorite workouts? Station-based strength workouts and anything with resistance bands. But it’s not just the physical work that keeps her coming — it’s how the workouts make her feel: “The more regular I am, the better my overall mood is. I feel more upbeat and happy.”
For those just starting their fitness journey, Shannon has this advice:
“Just try a class or two. They’re kind of addicting! Don’t worry about what you look like or if your form is perfect. We aren’t here to judge — we’re here to grow together.”
And when she’s not at EmpowerFit classes, Shannon is still empowering others in our community — she’s finishing her 21st year working in Hancock County Schools, having helped open North Hancock Elementary after years at Lewisport.
Congratulations, Shannon! Your dedication, positivity, and support of others make our community stronger. We’re so lucky to have you as part of the EmpowerFit family!Â
